THE BOOKWORM DOES NOT PURCHASE BOOKS:
The Bookworm gives credit toward other books in the store when you bring in paperbacks.
TRADE POLICY:
The Bookworm allows 65% of the publisher's price of your paperbacks in credit toward books in the store.
For every dollar's worth of credit you use at The Bookworm, there is a 15 cent handling fee. (To use your credit to purchase science fiction books, it must be science fiction books for which you received the credit.)
At the completion of your transaction at The Bookworm, if you didn't use all your credit you will receive a credit voucher showing the credit you have remaining.
PURCHASE WITHOUT TRADE:
Most paperbacks in the store may be purchased for 1/2 the cover price. The exception is science fiction. There is a minimum of $1.50 on those books.
BOOKS ACCEPTED FOR TRADE:
The Bookworm accepts most paperback books in good condition. Monthly romance books (Harlequin, Silhouette, etc.) are limited to those published within the last two years.
We do not accept books pertaining to education classes that would only be useful to a particular course. Monthly romance books (Harlequin, Silhouette, etc.) published over two years ago are not accepted.
RENTAL RATES:
Audio Books: $5.00 for the 1st week and $.40 for each additional day.
Hardback Books: $3.00 for the 1st week and $.40 for each additional day.
